I still did not complete this book yet but the first 4 chapters have opened few thing in my mind that I almost thought were impossible for me to understand. I have 0 conceptual knowledge about RAM and processor architecture in computers but this book helped me to understand that.

Nice reading material...the cover has some discoloration but to me what's important is in the inside.

The book is excellent for programmers and dba. The Tempdb, managing memory, trace architecture and query life cycle chapters are oustanding.
